From the series "Tokyo Nijukkei" ("Twenty Views of Tokyo"), "Asakusa Kannon no Yukibare". After the night-long of snowfall, a bright day has begun. Two women are enjoying the clear winter air in the premise of Asakusa Kannon Temple, Asakusa Kannon Temple was build in 645 A.D., dedicated to the Buddhist goddess of compassion, Kannon. It is the oldest temple in Tokyo. |
