Description "Yomei Mon" Yomei gate of Tosho-gu shrine in Nikko.
Reference book stated, "... Yomei Gate required the unbelievably elaborate work of ninety-six impressions in order to create the depth and clarity of colors in the print.".
Signature "Hiroshi Yoshida" signed in pencil on the lower margin. "Yoshida" brush signed on the bottom right.
Seal Artist's seal.
Dated 1937.
Medium/Technique Woodblock print.
Impression Excellent.
Colors Very good.
Condition Very good ... Slightly uneven light toning. Slight foxing on the margins. Two drying holes on the left margin.
Note "Jizuri" on the left margin.
