Artist Kishio Koizumi 1893-1945
Description From the series "Showa Shin Dai-Tokyo Fukei Hanga Hyaku Zue" ("One Hundred Views of New Great Tokyo in Showa Period"). The series depicted the new land marks and people's lives in Tokyo after the devastating Great Kanto Earthquake in 1923. It was started in 1928 and finished 12 years later. --- This design, No.99, depicts Myojin shrine in Kanda.
Signature "Koizumi Kishio" in the image.
Dated 1937.
Medium/Technique Woodblock print.
Impression Very good ... Posthumous printing.
Colors Very good.
Condition Very good ... Slightly toned. Mat lines in the image. Some ink residues. Lightly creased on the outer area.
