Description	From the series, "Shin Nigao" (New Portraits). Kabuki actor Kataoka Nizaemonis in the role of Hachirobei. "Shin Nigao" was a short-lived magazine series started in 1915 for 5 issues. Several artists contributed to one or two prints for the series which showcased more individual approaches to the traditional actor's portraits.
Signature	"Seifu". "Matsuda Seifu" is printed on the presentation paper.
Seal	Artist's seal.

Condition	Excellent - Very good ... Slightly toned. Lower right margin corner creased. Top edge is pasted on the original presentation paper.
