Description "Sugi Namiki". More than 350 years ago cedar trees were planted along the so called "Sugi Namiki" ("Cryptomeria Avenue") in Nikko. It leads from the vermilion painted Sacred Bridge outside the Nikko Town to the Nikko Toshogu Shrine Complex.
Signature "Hiroshi Yoshida" in pencil on the bottom margin.
Seal Artist's seal.
Dated 1937.
Medium/Technique Woodblock print.
Impression Excellent - Very good.
Colors Very good.
Condition Very good ... Paper toned. Mat lines along the image. Slight foxing. Two drying holes on the left margin.
Note "Jizuri" stamped on the upper left margin.
