Description	"Michi" ("Road"). A cat is sneaking up on a bird that strolls on a road at night. Tadashige Ono was much influenced by the proletarian movement. Although he did not make any overt political statement, his harsh, dark city landscapes and objects amply expressed the anxiety and conflicts in the modern society.
Signature	'T. Ono' in the image. "Ono Tadashige" hand signed in sumi ink on the backing paper.
