Description From the series, "Kokusui Buto Sen ; Hana no Maki" (Japanese Traditional Dances: Vol. Flower). "Yoshinoyama Michiyuki". Famous scene in the popular kabuki play, "Yoshitsune Senbon Zakura". Beauty Shizuka and Yoshitsune's faithful retainer Sato Tadanobu are on the way to join Yoshitsune's group on Mt. Yoshino. Under the blooming cherry trees, Shizuka and Tadanobu, actually a fox spirit in disguise, take a rest. Shizuka dances playing with the small drum which Yoshitsune gave to her. Tadanobu dances to narrate Shizuka the courageous death of his brother.
