Description "Oshima Ju-ni Kei no Uchi" (Twelve Scenic Places of Oshima Island). "Kaze" ("Wind").
Strong wind is bending plants and trees around the shore. Oshima Island is about 120 Km (75 miles) away from Tokyo in Pacific Ocean. The island has warm climate and tropical beauty which attract many tourists from Tokyo area.
Signature "Shinsui ga".
Seal Artist's seal.
Dated 1937 - 38.
Publisher Watanabe.
Medium/Technique Woodblock print.
Impression Very good.
Colors Excellent - very good.
Condition Very good ... Lightly uneven slight colored toning. Margins slightly creased. A drying hole on the right top corner.
Note Watanabe's round, black 6mm seal. (Most of designs of this series have only 6mm seal, although they were printed before W.W.II).
