Description	"Shinban: Kaoribako Zukushi". Various incense boxes can be cut out. From the series, "Edo Shumi shinko Omocha-e" ("Edo Pastimes, New and Old Toy Pictures"). "omocha-e" Toy prints for children to cut out and play. Collecting toy prints became quite popular in Japan recently. Although the printing quality and paper quality are inferior, their appeal come from the charming and homely feeling" unique to the Omocha-e made in late Edo to Mid-Meiji (ca.1868-1890)periods. The original colors and the "unique tastes" are very different from those often seen on the later Omocha-e.

Medium/Technique	Woodblock print.
Impression	Good ... Later printing probably in 1910 - 1930.
Colors	Excellent - Very good ... Mica sprinkled.
Condition	Very good ... Slight foxing. Margins lightly soiled and lightly creased. Small dents on the edges.
Note	"Kuniyoshi Monjin" ("Pupil of Kuniyoshi") is signed on the kabuki actor's picture on the top right.
