| Description |
The art of Yuji Hiratsuka is a sophisticated, usually witty - and sometimes a bit enigmatic - synthesis of Eastern and Western culture. Yuji Hiratsuka was born in Japan, but has permanently settled in the U.S.A. in Oregon, where he teaches printmaking art at Oregon State University.
His prints are in the collections of numerous museums like Tokyo Central Museum, New York Museum of Modern Art (MOMA), Art Institute of Chicago, Library of Congress, the British Museum and the Achenbach Foundation in San Francisco. |
