"To no Ue, Pisa" ("On the Top of the Tower, Pisa"). Tadashige Ono was much influenced by the proletarian movement. Although he did not make any overt political statement, his harsh, dark city landscapes and objects amply expressed the anxiety and conflicts in the modern society. |

"T. Ono" on the lower right area. Tadashige Ono, title, edition number are handsigned in ink on a washi-paper attached on the back. (All his prints have these hand written notes attached on the back). |
