Description Poster for Nihon Mingei Kan Ten" (Japan Folk Art Museum Exhibition), Meguro ward in Tokyo, in 1998.
Traditional Japanese vases and stylized ocean waves were depicted in "Katazome" method. This stencil-dyed method was originated in Okinawa as a folk art and has been used for many hundreds of years for binding-books, albums, sliding screens and many others.
Dated 1998.

Impression Excellent - very good ... Hand printed on a Japanese paper.
Colors Very good.
Condition Very good ... A horizontal center fold and a vertical center fold. Lightly creased. Several slight colored foxing in the middle.
