Yuji Hiratsuka was born in Osaka, Japan. In 1985 he moved to the United States. Since 1992 he has been teaching printmaking at Oregon State University. His graphic work has been exhibited in the Americas, Europe and Asia and has received numerous awards in national and international competitions.
