Education and Training

Mr. Zuo Wei was born in 1987 in Changsha city of Hunan province. He loved drawing when he was still a small child. In 2006 he started his printmaking studies at Hunan Science and Technology Institute with Mr. Wen Mujiang and Mr. Wang Kuiyong.

During the past three years, his artworks have been selected to be shown at several exhibitions, like the 2nd Printmaking Exhibition of Hunan province.

Technique and Editions

When you are as young as Mr. Zuo Wei, you are expected to experiment in different styles and techniques. This is what Zuo Wei fortunately does. We have seen the works displayed on this page so far. They were made in woodcut technique and in mixed media. The editions are extremely small - below 10 copies. The sheets are signed, dated, numbered and titled in Chinese.
