The artist Zhang Zexin is very popular in his home province Heilongjiang. The people like the way he shows this land in his woodblock prints. And art juries like the artist's works too by accepting his applications for renowned Chinese exhibitions and by awarding prizes to Mr. Zhang Zexin. And even people from outside China seem to like these beautiful images. They have been shown in several European and Asian countries and in Canada.

From Heilongjiang Province

Mr. Zhang Zexin was born in Heilongjiang province in 1961. He is a member of Chinese Artists Association and of Heilongjiang Prints Institute.

• 1997 - Outstanding artwork prize in the Art Exhibition of Celebrating Hong Kong's Reunification.
• 1998 - Copper prize in the 14th National Print Exhibition.
• 1999 - 9th National Art Exhibition.
• 2000 - 15th National Print Exhibition.
• 2002 - 16th National Print Exhibition.
• 2003 - Heilongjiang-Hong Kong Prints Exchanges Exhibition.
• 2003 - China-Korea Prints Exchanges Exhibition.
• 2003 - Second Chinese Golden Color Art Exhibition.
• 2004 - 17th National Print Exhibition.
• 2004 - 10th National Art Exhibition.
• 2004 - Silver Prize in the 9th Heilongjiang "The Stars Prize" exhibition.
• 2004 - Qingdao International Biennial Print Exhibition.

The artist's woodblock prints were shown in Japan, Germany, Korea, Canada, the United Kingdom, Hong Kong and in Taiwan.
