Graduates and Students of Yunnan Art University

On this page we introduce one established artist from Kunming, Zhang Yonghan born 1960, and a number of young, emerging artists. These young people are all from Kunming University in Yunnan province in China, today a major center for printmaking. We showed art prints of these young, exceptional artists in summer 2007.

Zhang Yonghan born 1960

Zhang Yongan was born in 1960, in Kunming City, Yunnan Province. He is a member of Yunnan Artists Association. He graduated from Fine Arts Department of Yunnan Art University in printmaking major in July 1987. Currently, he is a free job artist living in Kunming City. His oil paintings and prints had selected for Yunnan fine arts exhibitions several times. His print "Sacrifice (May, 1st, 1945)" was selected for The 17th Chinese National Printmaking Exhibition, and was collected in possessions by Guizhou Province Museum.
