'Memories of Summer' are two early art print works by Chinese pop art printmaker Xiong Xiqiu. They are from 2003 when Xiong Xiqiu, born 1979, was only twenty-three years old. Nevertheless, in my view both works are among her best.

'Memories of Summer' won the outstanding prize of the 8th Printmaking Exhibition of Etching, Lithography, and Silkscreen in Chongqing in 2003. Both prints are made in silkscreen technique. The edition size is 6 for 'Memories of Summer I' and 9 for 'Memories of Summer II'.
If you are among the happy ones who purchased one of the few copies from artelino, you are holding a little treasure in your hands. Don't sell it and preserve it well. The best way of preserving condition and thus value is not to frame it. Sorry folks, I know some hate me for this, but it is a fact if value is of importance for you.
