Xiao Qingjiang creates woodblock prints of the landscapes of Heilongjiang province. His style is traditional and modern at the same time. The artist uses few colors and few details in his woodblock compositions. And nevertheless, or maybe just because of this limitation, his art works have atmosphere.
Mr. Xiao Qingjiang is one of the popular modern Chinese printmakers. He was born in Heilongjiang Province in 1963. The artist is a member of China Artists Association and China Printmaking Association.
