Wu Baoyou is a painter and printmaker from the Autonomous Region of Inner Mongolia. His subjects are firmly rooted in Mongolian folk tradition. But his style shows large variations.

Wu Baoyu, Mongolian, was born in 1962. He graduated from the Fine Arts Department of Jirem League University in 1982. He is a member of Inner Mongolian Autonomous Region Artists Association and the vice chairman of Tongliao City Horqin Left Wing Middle Banner Artists Association.
His print "Vulture" was exhibited along with other ethnic art works in Norway, "June" attended the Beijing Inner Mongolian Culture Week Art Exhibition.
In 2002, his traditional Chinese painting "The Proud Son of Grasslands" won the Prize of Excellence of Jinjian Culture of Ministry of Justice in the Traditional Chinese Painting Exhibition for Welcoming the Olympic Games in Beijing.
Wu Baoyu is also author of many cartoons, comic book and prints that have been published in various newspapers and periodicals.
