This page shows new images from the manufactory in Nepal where artelino's Tibetan rugs in traditional designs and sizes are made. The dragon design rug is from our latest order. You see one of the final steps: how the rugs are washed.

Washing is one of the final steps in producing a Tibetan carpet. The main purpose is to remove dirt. On our page titled Rugs from Nepal you can read about the steps required to produce an all hand-made rug and you can watch a video that demonstrates the whole process from carding of the wool until the final trimming.
