In February of 2008 artelino has started to present 18 artists from the printmaking school of Songxi. Please do not understand "school" as a real school with a builing. "Art school" is used as a term to describe an art movment, a group of artists that share common views, styles or techniques and artistic concepts. The people of Songxi are self-confident people. The Chinese State Ministry of Culture named Songxi in 2006 "The Printmaking Hometown of China".
