His art works are a synthesis of traditional Chinese painting and modern Western elements. They were shown at national and international art exhibitons in Japan, Korea, the U.S.A. and Europe. Many of his paintings were collected by national important organizations, like The People's Great Hall, Diao Yutai Hotel and several Chinese consulates. Education and TrainingLi Rongde was born in 1956 in Jinan city of Shandong province. He graduated from the Department for Traditional Chinese Painting of Tianjin Fine Art Academy. Currently (2007) Li Rongde works as a scholar of Chinese Art Research Institute. He is a member of China Artists Association and a national first grade artist. Li Rongde attended many national and international art exhibitons in Japan, Korea, the U.S.A. and Europe. Many of his paintings were collected by national important organizations, like The People's Great Hall, Diao Yutai Hotel and several Chinese consulates. Many newspapers and magazines like "Chinese Art Newspaper" published his paintings. Yulan Flower FragranceIn summer of 2007 we received a consignment of an original painting by the artist. Our Chinese art agent could acquire it by chance from a local Chinese auction house. The painting is meticulously made with small brushes on a thin Chinese paper.
