Waichi Hayashi was born in 1951 in Shizuoka prefecture. In 1974 he had graduated from the Department of Japanese Art at Kanazawa Art
and Crafts College. The artist is active in more than one field of traditional Japanese arts. He works in woodblock prints, the pottery and ceramics and in suiboku-ga. These are black and white sumi-ink paintings.

Wang Bing was born in Ganan in Gansu province. In
1978 he matriculated at Zhnangye School of Fine Arts in Gansu. Since then the artist contributed regularly to national Chinese art exhibitions and received a number of awards and prizes. His works are in the posession of China Fine Art Museum and the Fine Art Museum of Beijing. In 1996 he exhibited at Redfern Gallery in London and in 1997 he had a Solo exhibition in Taipei.

Wang Gi was born in 1918 in Kanton. During world war II he attended Lu Xun Academy of Literature and Arts in Yanan. Later he became a member of the Literary and Cultural Committee of Chongquing. After the war he came to the Central Academy of Fine Arts. There he worked as an art teacher, created art himself and became chief editor of two important art journals - Meishu (Art) and Ban Hua (Prints). His articles and books on Chinese and foreign art are numerous. He holds the positions of chairman of Chinese printmakers' Association and vice-chairman of Chinese Artists' Association.
