Nomura Yoshimitsu belonged to the Kyoto circle of Shin Hanga artists who worked for the publisher Sato Shotaro. With the exception of Tomikichiro Tokuriki, the Kyoto artists working in this art style remained a bit in the shadow. Although Nomura Yoshimitsu took part in the famous Toledo exhibition in Ohio in 1936, not even the date of his birth and death are to be found in the literature.

Yoshimitsu Sasaki was a pupil of Yoshiume and perhaps the younger brother or a pupil of Yoshitaki. He was a kamigata artist active during 1873-1890.

Yoshimori Taguchi started as a pupil of Kuniyoshi Utagawa. He specialized in scenes of Yokohoma-e (images of Westerner and their technical achievements from the enclave of Yoshihama) and has the reputation of having worked mostly for the export market.

Yoshimune Utagawa was a pupil of Kuniyoshi. Main subjects were warrior prints and Yohohama-e (images of Westerners and their achievements).

Yoshinori Yuse was born in 1947 in Akita prefecture. The artist works mainly in silkscreen technique. He took part in the CWAJ Traveling Show to Australia and New Zealand from 1992-1993. Works by Yoshinori Yuse are in the collections of the British Museum, the Ibiza Museum of Contemporary Art in Spain, the Krakow National Museum and the Gallery of New South Wales in Australia.

Little information is available about Yoshio Matsushita. Helen Merritt/Nanako Yamada list this artist as "Member of Shin Hanga and Zokei Hanga Kyokai. Contributed to Shin Hanga 1933-1935. Exhibited landscape prints with Nihon Hanga Kyokai in 1935. Sometimes carved given name and initial of family name in the block."

Yoshio Nakanishi is a typical sosaku hanga artist. He had studied with Yamamoto Kanae, the 'grandfather' of the sosaku hanga movement ("self-carved, self-printed"). The artist was active in the 1920s and 1930s.

Yoshio Takagi is a lesser known late Shin Hanga artist, Japanese traditional painter. He was born in Tokyo. Known are prints with images of beautiful women (bijin-ga) and nature prints. They were published by Watanabe Shozaburo.
