Original explanation by the artist: "The print Grow Up, shows a boy with a Mickey Mouse badge. That's a true experience of those of us born in the 1970s. We were proud of such a badge in our childhood. The hand on the right is a symbol of Chairman Mao. That means we grew up with his instructions.". |
