"Made in China - Red Series No. 2" The image shows a young, half naked Red Guard soldier girl. The characters that the two "ancient persons" write, reads "Seeing the woman's look as nothing" which is proposed by Buddhism. To enforce the shocking contrasts even more, one of the "ancients" holds the small, famous red chairman Mao book in his hand. It has become a symbol of Mao's Cultural Revolution all over the world.

The print has no condition problem. The "antique" and "frayed" look of the paper is part of the design. The print has a white margin. Zhao Tianqi wants to create of the subject of the Communist revolution and the "old" China. |
