| Description |
The silhouette of four men on horseback, each with a different background color. Two of the men hold a polo-lasso, a long rope with a loop at the end. It is called "uurga" and the Mongol tribal people use it to catch horses. Shan Dan was born and lives in the Autonomous Region of Inner Mongolia. In 1998 she had a solo exhibition at the China National Museum of Fine Arts in Beijing. One year later, she received the prestigious Luxun Print Prize.
