From the series, "One Hundred Views of Eternal China; The Ten Views of Beijing", "Silent Night of the Station" The image shows the main railroad station of Beijing at night. Even then it still makes a pretty busy impression with lots of people at the entrance gates. Beijing Railway Station was opened in the 1950s and has an interesting architecture as a mixture of old and new. |
