| Description | From the series "Tokyo Ju-ni Kei" ("Twelve Views of Tokyo"). A beauty is sitting at "kotatsu" (Japanese foot warmer) covering herself with a blanket. This series was never completed and ended after nine prints. All 9 prints were carved by Igami Bonkotsu (one of the master carver in early 20th century) and printed by Nishimura Kumakichi . |
