Description	"Matsuri Gion". The Gion festival in Kyoto is one of the most famous festivals in Japan. It takes the whole month of July and was originally a festival to appease the gods that were said to cause fire, floods and earthquakes.
Signature	"H. Kato" in pencil on the lower margin.
Seal	"Hide" embossed on the right bottom margin.
Dated	Late 20th century.
