Description "Tokaido Meisho no Uchi" (The Scenic Places of Tokaido). This large series by different artists and publishers was made for the commemoration of shogun Tokugawa Iemochi's historic travel from Edo to Kyoto to pay respect to the emperor. Hiratsuka. Mt. Ohyama is seen at the distance.
Signature Hiroshige ga.
Dated 1863.

Impression Very good ... strong woodgrains visible on the upper sky.
Colors Excellent - very good.
Condition Very good ... slightly mottled toning, slightly soiled, a pin size worm hole on the upper right margin corner, album backing.
