Title	Mother and Child in Bath
Artist	Akio Onda born 1924
Description	"Yu Ami" Mother and child taking a bath together. Akio ONDA was one of the best students of Shiko MUNAKATA. He worked as the assistant of Munakata while Munakata taught woodblock printing at Musashino Art Collage.
Signature	"Onda Akio" and title in pencil on the lower margin.
Seal	Artist's red seal.
Dated	Ca. late 20th century.
Medium/Technique	Woodblock print.
Impression	Excellent - very good ... self-carved and self-printed on a very thin, translucent Japanese paper (kozo).
Colors	Black and white.
Condition	Very good ... slight toning, naturally irregular edges and wrinkles usual for this type of paper, several printer's creases on the margins, a crease on the child's hair, mounting residues on the upper and lower edges.
