Description Poem by KOBAYASHI Issa (Famous haiku poet and writer, 1736-1827) made in 1818, "The warm spring wind dries up a kitchin sink quickly".
Signature "Onda Akio", title in pencil.
Seal Artist's red seal on the lower margin.
Dated Ca. 1960s.
Medium/Technique Woodblock print.
Impression Excellent - very good ... self-carved and self-printed on a very thin, Japanese washi paper.
Colors Excellent ... (inked from the reverse side. Some of the sosaku hanga were made in this way).
Condition Excellent - very good ... wrinkles usual for this type of washi paper, light toning.
