| Description | From the short poem collection "Chidorigake". Poem by KOBAYASHI Issa (Famous haiku poet and writer, 1736-1827) about the sparrows eating gladly "awa" (millet) at Sedo. Akio Onda was one of the excellent pupils of Shiko MUNAKATA. He learned the dynamic and strong black and white composition typical to the "Munakata School". But he has more of the warm feelings in his colors and subjects. |
