Priest is beating a large drum which is called "oh-kaminari" (Big Thunder) at Eihei-ji Temple. Eihei-ji (temple of eternal peace) was founded by priest Dogen in 13th Century near Fukui City. It is one of the two head temples of Soto sect of Zen Buddhism which still strictly practice Shikan-taza ("just sitting") form of Zen.
