Title	Pine Trees
Artist	Chikuha Odake 1878-1936
Description	Pine trees on a sea shore. Large full moon and clouds are on the background. This print was a part of a publisher's sample album which was sent to various vendors. These well-made sample albums were mostly used in Kansai area and were quite rare outside of Japan because they were never exported.
Signature	Konobu.
Seal	Artist's seal.
Dated	Ca. 1900-1910s.
Medium/Technique	Woodblock print.
Impression	Excellent - very good.
Colors	Black and white ... mica sprinkled.
Condition	Good ... light toning, slightly soiled, several foxing and brown stains mostly around the edges, partial binding holes along the right edge.
Note	The publisher's inventory number stamped on the back.
Format	Shikishiban
