Description	The village of Ikaruga in Nara. Red persimmon trees and farmers harvesting rice crops under the clear autumn sky. The tall pagoda of Horyu temple is seen in the distance. A fine trial proof before the first commercial edition. It has been kept in the famous publisher in Kyoto, The Uchida, archives. An exceptional and rare item for the serious Japanese woodblock print collector.
Seal	Artist's seal (Koto).
Dated	Ca. 1930 - 50s.
Publisher	Uchida.
Medium/Technique	Woodblock print.
Impression	Excellent - very good.
Colors	Excellent.
Condition	Excellent - Very good ... Slight creases.
Note	Uchida Han is an important Japanese publishing company with branches in both Tokyo and Kyoto. Founded in 1919, the company is still in existence today as an active publisher of shin-hanga in addition to publishing re-strikes of Edo period ukiyo-e prints.
