Description	"Mokuren, Kyukancho". (Magnolia, Common Hill Myna). Hill Myna is often seen as a pet. It is among the most renowned mimics, perhaps on par only with the African Grey Parrot (Psittacus erithacus). It can learn to reproduce many everyday sounds, particularly the human voice, and even whistled tunes, with astonishing accuracy and clarity.
Signature	"Koto" on the plate.
Dated	Ca. 1950s.
