"Komei Bijin Mitate Chushingura" (Famous Beauties; Chushingura Parodied) One of the set of 12 prints. Courtesan Kisegawa puts make-ups on a veranda while another is reading a letter. The scene was alluded to Act 7, Chushingura in which Okaru and villain Kudayu were spying Yuranosuke's letter. |
