Description A sheet from the folding album, "Momo Chidori Kyoka Awase" (Myriad Birds Compared in Humorous Verse) playful kyoka poems matched with different birds. White-backed Woodpecker (kitsutsuki) and yellow-billed gosbeak (mamemawashi).
Dated Originally ca. 1790, this is a re-carved edition made in ca.1950s.
Publisher Re-carved edition by Adachi.
Medium/Technique Woodblock print.
Impression Excellent ... (re-carved).
Colors Excellent.
Condition Excellent - very good.
