Description	"Awabi" (Abalone) divers taking a rest. This triptych is one of the most famous portraits of abalone divers in ukiyo-e. This print comes with a detailed English explanation.
Signature	Utamaro x 3.
Dated	Originally in 1798, this is a re-carved edition was made in 1973.
Publisher	Takamizawa.
Medium/Technique	Woodblock print.
Impression	Excellent ... (re-carved).
Colors	Very good.
Condition	Very good ... light toning, slightly creased, several foxing and stains.
Note	Carver Kikuta Kohjiro, printer Sato Kanjiro.
Format	3 Oban tate-e

Height Item	16.2 inches = 41.2 cm
Note	This print was hand-made by skillful artisans after a great original of a famous woodblock print. Sheets printed during the artist's lifetime are either very expensive or no longer available.
