Description	Circus horses. Hide Kawanishi was famous for his cheerful depiction of the circus and the harbor scenes. He was one of the leading artists in the Sosaku-hanga movement in the early - mid 20th century.
Signature	"Hide kawanishi" hand signed in pencil on the top left corner in the image.
Seal	Artist's seal.
Dated	1952.
Publisher	Self published.
Medium/Technique	Woodblock print.
Impression	Carved and printed by the artist.
Colors	Excellent - very good.
Condition	Very good ... Slight foxing on the light colored area. Linear indentation, about 1 inch long, on the bottom left on the yellow leg. Margins slightly soiled and creased, a dozen foxing at the margin edges.
