Description	"Nanban-sen" (The Foreign Ship). Together with "Nanban-buri" this is one of the most famous designs made by Sumio Kawakami.
Seal	Sumi (printed inside the star design in circle on the upper left).
Dated	1939.
Medium/Technique	Woodblock print.
Impression	Very good ... (probably later printing but not recent) printed on a medium-thick Japanese paper.
Colors	Excellent - very good ... colors were hand painted on top of the black key-block lines.
Condition	Good ... light paper toning, numerous foxing, slight creases.
Width Item	15.7 inches = 40.0 cm
Height Item	19.7 inches = 50.0 cm
