Description "Mitate Jyu-ni shi no Uchi, Tutsu" (Alluded to the Twelve Zodiacs; Dragon). Frontispiece illustration for a novel in a narrow, long format.
Signature 'Eiho' in the plate. "Hirezaki Eiho" printed on the right margin.
Seal Artist's seal.
Dated Ca. 1910-30s.
Medium/Technique Lithograph.
Impression Very good.
Colors Good.
Condition Fair ... Dark toning, soiled. Two horizontal folds usual for kuchi-e. A diagonal crack on right top corner with a tear of ca. 1,1 cm = 0,43 inch on its upper end. A long diagonal crack on right margin. Three long tears in the lower half of the image, verso fixed with pieces of paper. A longer tear on upper half of the image. Paper slightly wrinkled, creased. Three pin-sized holes on bottom margin.
