Description The Akasaka Palace in Tokyo from the series "Tokyo Kaiko Zue" ("Recollections of Tokyo"), with all together 15 designs from various well known sosaku-hanga artists.
Signature "Hiratsuka Unichi" is printed on a strip of paper and attached on the folder.
Seal Artist's seal (Unichi in).
Dated 1945.
Medium/Technique Woodblock print.
Impression Very good.
Colors Good.
Condition Good ... Paper toned. Slight foxing. V-shaped tear , about 1cm long, on the lower right. Top corners are pasted on the original presentation folder.
