"Night Birth" Wooden boats are harboring in the night. The boats are a home for the people and in one of them the golden light of a lantern is shining and throwing its relections on the water. The colors of this print are dark and subdued and emphasize the silence of the night. The artist combines rural Chinese scenes with modern Western composition. You will not be surprised that Zhu Weiming wrote a book in Chinese about Pablo Picasso. |
