Artist	Ryusei Okamoto born 1949
Description	Several gondolas to the foreground. In the background one can see the Church of St. Marcus and the famous "piazza" San Marco. Ryusei tries to create the thin flowing lines of the ukiyo-e tradition. He has been working diligently for the art of carving wood blocks for decades. He produces only about 6 major works per year.
Dated	1991.
Medium/Technique	Woodblock print.
Impression	Very good ... Carved and printed by the artist.
Colors	Excellent ... Fine gradations on the sky and the water.
Condition	Excellent - very good ... Minor ink residues and creases on the margins.
Note	"Mihon" (sample) was written on the bottom margin by the artist.
