Title Treaty at the Peach Orchard
Artist Chikashige Morikawa active ca. 1869-82
Description Gentoku (right: played by Ichikawa Danjuro) took an oath of brotherhood with Kan-u (middle: Nakamura Shikan) and Chohi (left: Onoe Kikugoro) in a peach orchard. Gentoku later became the emperor, Chao Lieh of Shoku in the period of the Three Kingdoms in 220 B.C.

Impression Very good.
Colors Excellent - very good ... shomen-zuri patterns on the black robe.
Condition Excellent - very good ... sheets pasted together, slight soil on the light colored area, lower edge slightly frayed.
