Title	Lovers in The Lightning Night
Artist	Hironobu Kinoshita active ca. 1851-72
Description	Hanzo (played by Nakamura Komanosuke) waits outside a fence in the thunder storm. Hasumi no Chiyo (played by Ohtani Tomomatsu) is depicted in the inset on the right panel. They have each other's names tattooed on their upper arms in the play, "Ohga no Yogatari".
Signature	Hironobu x 2.
Dated	Ca. 1860s.
Medium/Technique	Woodblock print.
Impression	Excellent.
Colors	Excellent ... silver colored metallic pigment for the rain.
Condition	Excellent - very good ... slightly soiled, album backing, panels pasted together.
