Title	Poem on the Sea Shore
Artist	Eiri Rekisentei (Hosoda) active ca. 1790-1800
Description	A lady with attendants are reading a poem on a sea shore. Large pine tree is behind.
Signature	Rekisentei Eiri (?) ga.
Dated	Originally in Edo period. This is a re-carved edition made in 1910-20s.
Medium/Technique	Woodblock print.
Impression	Excellent ... (re-carved) lightly embossed.
Colors	Very good.
Condition	Good ... paper toning, slightly soiled, 2-3 worm tracks (0.5-1 inch long) on each sheet.
Format	3 Oban tate-e
Width Item	30.1 inches = 76.5 cm
Height Item	15.4 inches = 39.0 cm
Note	This print was hand-made by skillful artisans after a great original of a famous woodblock print. Sheets printed during the artist's lifetime are either very expensive or no longer available.
